Web3 doesn’t have a technology problem. It has a product problem.
Tech Rebel exists to fix that.
We are a fractional product leadership studio — embedding as Product Manager as a Service to bring structure, judgment, and momentum where teams get stuck.
We work with founders who are already building — but feel trapped between shipping fast and shipping the right thing.
Our job is simple: impose clarity, cut noise, and turn chaos into forward motion fast.
How We Work (And Why It Works)
Most teams don’t need more builders. They need better product decisions.
Agencies optimize for delivery. Advisors optimize for opinion. Full-time hires are often premature.
Tech Rebel operates differently.
We work directly with your team to bring structure, judgment, and momentum — without the cost or rigidity of a full-time role.
Our work lives where products actually get unblocked:
- Clarifying what problem is actually worth solving
- Cutting scope to what matters now — and what doesn’t
- Turning technical possibilities into product bets
- Aligning roadmap, narrative, and go-to-market into one story
In practice, it feels like plugging a senior product mind directly into your team — focused on forward motion, not process theater.
Built by Operators, Not Theorists
Tech Rebel was shaped inside real products — not slides, frameworks, or theory.
Our experience spans some of the most complex surfaces in Web3: financial infrastructure, on-chain systems, tokenized platforms, and products where technical decisions directly impact users, money, and trust.
Working across trading systems, stablecoin rails, tokenized platforms, NFT-based access models, and compliance-driven workflows revealed a consistent pattern:
The hardest part isn’t building. It’s deciding what to build — and what not to next.
That’s why Tech Rebel doesn’t operate from the outside. We embed directly with teams, inside the constraints, tradeoffs, and unfinished systems where real product decisions get made.
We don’t just advise. We work inside the mess with you.
👨🚀Founder & Lead Rebel

Alberto Chaves
Founder · Fractional Product Lead
Tech Rebel exists because Alberto kept seeing the same pattern repeat.
Talented teams. Strong engineers. Powerful technology. And yet — products stalled, overbuilt, or stuck without a clear path to market.
Alberto is a product leader first, with over 7 years leading R&D teams across fintech and Web3, working where engineering, product judgment, and real-world adoption collide.
He has mentored and worked with founders through Draper University/Stellar Development Foundation programs: Founders Residence, and the Embark Accelerator, and has mentored and judged teams at hackathons such as ETH Denver.
He has also built and shipped himself — leading teams to win multiple Web3 hackathons, not as an advisor, but as an operator inside the work.
Today, Alberto works as a fractional product lead, embedding directly with teams to cut through early-stage chaos, sharpen product bets, and turn momentum into real shipping progress.
Tech Rebel is the expression of two long-running motivations:
- Helping founders think clearly and move faster
- Building innovative, useful things in public
🎯Who This Is For
Tech Rebel is designed for a very specific moment.
You’re a founder or team who is already building — but the product itself feels harder than it should.
- You’re an early-stage Web3 founder with a strong technical team, but product decisions feel reactive instead of intentional.
- You’re shipping, but there’s no clear product spine holding roadmap, scope, and narrative together.
- You’re heading toward grants, pilots, demos, or fundraising — and you know the product story isn’t tight enough yet.
- You don’t need cheerleading or motivation. You need product judgment, structure, and momentum.
- You want someone who will challenge assumptions, cut scope, and unblock decisions — not agree with everything you say.
This is not a fit if:
- You’re looking for a generic agency or outsourced delivery team
- You want surface-level advice without real accountability
- You’re not willing to change direction when the product demands it
If this resonates, the next step is simple.
I work with a small number of teams at a time as a fractional product lead. These sessions are not sales calls — they’re working conversations to assess clarity, surface constraints, and decide what actually needs to happen next.
