About the Product

KindFi is a decentralized crowdfunding platform that uses Web3, AI, and gamification to make supporting social impact projects transparent, verifiable, and community-driven.

Here’s how we solve the biggest problems in traditional crowdfunding:

✅ Milestone-Based Escrow System We replace blind trust with smart contract escrows:

Donations are locked until impact milestones are verified

Funds are released in tranches, ensuring accountability

If milestones are missed, funds are returned or redirected by community vote

This ensures funds are used responsibly, and contributors stay protected.

✅ AI-Assisted Project Verification Before any campaign goes live, it’s reviewed by an AI-powered moderation system that:

Detects fraud or misinformation

Evaluates documentation and credibility

Flags suspicious behavior for human review

This allows us to scale trust without scaling bureaucracy.

✅ Passkey + KYC-Based Identity System We onboard users through a biometric passkey system and AI-assisted KYC, ensuring:

Verified contributors and project creators

Seamless login with no passwords or wallets required

On-chain identity that ties real-world trust to digital participation

✅ Kinders NFTs as Reputation + Governance Every contributor earns a Kinders NFT that:

Evolves based on their donation behavior

Unlocks governance rights (voting on fund redistribution)

Acts as a visual and functional reputation badge on the platform

It’s proof of impact—not just participation.

✅ Gamified Quest & Streak System To increase retention and impact, we’ve built a Quest System:

Complete missions (e.g. donate to new regions, maintain streaks)

Unlock new NFT tiers (Bronze → Diamond)

Boost visibility and voting power

This turns donations into a meaningful, goal-driven experience.

✅ Matching Funds Engine We boost contributions through on-chain matching from two sources:

Impact Fund: fueled by success fees and external sponsors

Community Fund: made from unused donations and redirected via annual votes AI and smart contracts determine match levels (+20% to +100%) based on campaign quality and timing.

✅ Open-Source and Developer-First KindFi is fully open-source, with a modular architecture designed for contribution. We’re already engaging global Web3 developers through Only Dust, building out smart contracts, governance systems, and AI tools together.

Problem & Solutions

Problem

Despite billions of dollars flowing through donation platforms every year, the systems meant to support real-world impact are fundamentally broken:

❌ Lack of Trust Donors often have no idea where their money goes. Legacy platforms provide little to no transparency, and fund misuse is common. Contributors are left hoping—not knowing—that their support made a difference.

❌ Disconnected Systems There’s a huge gap between Web3 innovation and real-world social causes. On one side: blockchain projects with powerful tools. On the other: grassroots foundations with no access, no funding, and no idea how to reach crypto communities. These worlds rarely meet.

❌ High Costs & Centralized Fees Traditional platforms take hefty cuts (often 5–10%) before funds even reach a project. Payment processors add more fees. This drains money away from causes and punishes micro-donations.

❌ No Accountability or Milestones Most platforms release all funds upfront, with little to no oversight. If a project fails or misuses funds, there’s no recourse—no milestone system, no smart contract logic, no accountability.

❌ LATAM Funding Gaps In regions like Latin America, USAID and other institutional support is vanishing, creating a $17B+ funding gap for grassroots causes. These communities are being left behind by both Web2 and Web3 platforms.

Customer Segments

KindFi serves two core groups—those who give, and those who build impact—plus a growing ecosystem around them:

  1. Contributors ("Kinders") Crypto-native individuals and Web3-aligned users who want to:

Support verified social causes with transparency and control

Earn NFT-based recognition and participate in governance

Give micro-donations without losing impact to high fees

These users want more than “donate and forget”—they want to see where their funds go, unlock badges, grow reputation, and vote on community decisions.

  1. Project Creators ("Kindlers") Grassroots NGOs, local foundations, and social entrepreneurs, especially across LATAM, who:

Need access to capital without intermediaries

Want to fundraise using milestone-based, secure releases

Lack access to traditional fundraising tools or are excluded by location, regulations, or financial infrastructure

KindFi gives them a transparent, blockchain-native toolset to fundraise and report progress efficiently.

  1. Organizations, Companies & Sponsors Entities that want to:

Support causes transparently with auditable impact

Get visibility within a mission-driven Web3 ecosystem

Participate in matching funds, sponsor quests, or activate custom campaigns

  1. Web3 Developers & Contributors Open-source developers interested in:

Building real-world tools that matter

Learning and contributing to smart contract infrastructure (Soroban)

Gaining experience in AI, on-chain governance, or decentralized identity

KindFi gives them structured issues, mentorship, and community recognition via Only Dust and direct integration with Stellar.
