About the Product
TonkiApp is a multi-sided platform that empowers small and medium-sized businesses by transforming traditional marketing into tokenized loyalty and programmable customer rewards. Instead of relying on costly advertising intermediaries, businesses launch value-driven campaigns that distribute incentives directly to their customers, increasing engagement, retention, and repeat visits. Tonki introduces a programmable loyalty protocol built on the Stellar network that converts marketing spending into tokenized value distributed directly to customers. Customers join the ecosystem through TonkiApp, where a non-custodial wallet is automatically created on Stellar, allowing users to receive rewards and digital assets without requiring Web3 knowledge. Through this wallet, customers can receive tokenized loyalty rewards, XLM airdrops, and NFTs issued within the ecosystem. At the core of TonkiApp is a tokenized loyalty protocol implemented through smart contracts built with Soroban. These contracts automate marketing campaigns and distribute rewards based on customer behavior recorded through the platform. The protocol defines a programmable reward distribution model where incentives are allocated as follows: 55% Base Reward — rewards generated from direct consumption 30% Repeat Reward — incentives tied to visit frequency and recurring behavior 10% Referral Reward — rewards for bringing new customers 5% Event & Promotional Rewards — bonuses for special campaigns and activations In addition, TonkiApp is developing a Stellar-based NFT protocol that allows businesses to issue collectible digital credentials functioning as access passes for memberships, exclusive promotions, events, and unique customer experiences. By leveraging Stellar’s fast and low-cost transaction infrastructure, TonkiApp enables businesses to run large-scale loyalty campaigns where real economic value is distributed directly to customers, creating stronger communities and sustainable customer engagement ecosystems.
Problem & Solutions
Problem
-Small and medium-sized businesses lack accessible tools to connect with, understand, and retain their customers through actionable metrics and strategies that integrate economic value into the business–customer relationship. Although loyalty programs and advertising platforms exist to address parts of this challenge, current solutions are fragmented or only solve one aspect of the problem (advertising, analytics, or rewards). They fail to offer an integrated model that combines customer activation, loyalty building, and value distribution within a single system. The few integrated solutions available are often expensive or inaccessible for small businesses. Additionally, in many local contexts businesses face additional regulatory and operational costs, such as taxes on physical advertising or commercial restrictions, which further limit their promotional channels and growth opportunities.
As a result, millions of small businesses:
Lack clear metrics about customer behavior

Recently, in my municipality, local and state administrations introduced a new tax on physical advertising for small businesses.
Local problem Merchants are now required to pay approximately 100 pesos per square meter for banners, signs, or any visible advertisement, regardless of whether it is a printed banner, a wall sign, or painted signage. This policy is creating significant uncertainty for small businesses, as it increases operational costs and discourages local promotion and visibility. For many small merchants already facing challenges such as rising costs, economic pressure, insecurity, and limited institutional support, these additional restrictions further reduce their ability to grow and attract customers. This reality highlights an important need: small businesses require new ways to promote themselves, build customer relationships, and grow their communities without relying solely on traditional advertising channels.
